A Happy 4th of July for All

Happy belated 4th of July to you all! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend with your friends and family. I know I certainly did. Although my better half was stuck at work for a 14 hour shift, I had the pleasure of spending the day with my children, his daughter and his parents.
My recent move came with a great surprise for the 4th; the local 4th of July parade happens right in front of our new home! We set up our lawn chairs, grabbed some beverages, a few toys and I, of course, brought my camera.
Everyone had a great time watching the fire trucks, police cars, "ninjas", dancers and more pass by. Each kiddo collected their fair share of high-fives, candy and smiles. 
I know I'm definitely looking forward to spending more events this this with the awesome blended family we have created!
